This article introduces the maintenance of injection molds.
Injection molds are parts that give plastic shapes and dimensions during molding. Although the structure of the mold may vary widely due to the variety and performance of plastics, the shape and structure of plastic products, and the type of injection machine, the basic structure is the same.
Molded parts (including punches, dies, cores, etc.) Function: Mainly determine the geometric shape and size of the product.
When the mold is opened, the movable mold and the fixed mold are separated to take out the plastic part, which is called a single parting surface mold, also called a double-plate mold. It is the simplest and most basic form of injection molds. It can be designed as a single-cavity injection mold or a multi-cavity injection mold according to needs. It is the most widely used injection mold.
Molded parts (including punches, dies, cores, etc.) Function: Mainly determine the geometric shape and size of the product.
Mixing additives such as oily hydrocarbons or water into the sintered powder will decompose during sintering and then escape along the gap of the mold wall. This is beneficial to obtain a complete sintered part and increase the life of the mold.
